She grew the studio from 1 teacher and 10 students to a faculty of 20, hundreds of weekly students, and over $500k in annual revenue.

Valerick Molinary

Bellydance Artist and Instructor

Valerick Molinary is known for its unique and elegant performance, which flows seamlessly while having that touch of sassiness resonant with her native Puerto Rico. She has taught and performed at international festivals across four continents. For over 15 years, she dedicated herself to the in-depth study of Arab dances and folklore, traveling to study in diverse Arab countries such as Egypt, Lebanon, and Morocco.

She has a BA in Hispanic Studies and Comparative Literature, the influence of which can be seen in her creative and poetic approach to choreography, dance teaching, and production.

In 2015 she began producing the Lebanese Love Affair, an annual event in Miami dedicated to providing a platform for dancers to study directly from renowned and dedicated Arab dance artists, all in a big celebration of love for Raks Sharky and the countries that gave birth to it. In 2019 she opened the studio Creative Hips in Coconut Grove in partnership with Kelly Rodriguez.

Teaching Raks Sharky (commonly known as "belly dance") is one of my biggest passions. She feels this dance is a powerful form of expression that allows her to recover her body autonomy and help us to explore our humanity. In her classes, she likes to emphasize the cultural background of the dance, body alignment, and breakdown of the steps. She believes in repeating and drilling the moves for a long period of time. Repetition doesn't make perfect, but it does make it permanent. This is why she likes to pay attention to how her students are executing their techniques in class.

Alexandra Molina

Belly Dance Teacher & Performer

Alexandra Molina is a multi-disciplined artist based in Miami, FL. Raised by a father who was a child prodigy, actor, poet, and writer from Cuba, and a diverse and very creative family, her work is a culmination of art, deep human connection, and a pure joy for life.

As a Belly Dancer, she is an instructor, choreographer and performer who has dedicated over 18 years of study in M.E.N.A.T. dances and has developed a unique style of teaching and performing. She approaches her classes with a soul-to-body connection combining fitness and wellness, helping students to feel grounded, mindful and well-connected to themselves and the dance. Her performances are elegant, graceful and earthy.

Alexandra is also the co-director of “Belly Dance Stories,” an empowering and conceptual theater production in collaboration with Valerick Molinary, that celebrates the voices of their dance community through multi-media art such as performance, creative writing, video and more. www.bellydancestories.com

As a visual artist, Alexandra specializes in portraiture and movement and is primarily an oil painter. She has a degree in Fine Arts and Art History, with a double major in painting and modern and contemporary art history. She has worked with dancers and students on creative projects such as Calligraphic Dancer, which she recently exhibited in Belly Dance Stories, Volume I celebrating the project's 10 year anniversary.

Shayna Rogg

Bellydancer & Owner of Hipnotic Entertainment

Hipnotic Entertainment is a South Florida based entertainment company powered by a mom-daughter team with over 17 years of experience in the entertainment industry!

Mom, Cyndi, is also the proud owner of a martial arts academy for children and adults where she has been molding children and families since 1985.

Cyndi's many years in the professional world show through her excellent customer service and people skills.

Daughter, Shayna, grew up in the entrepreneurial lifestyle learning business skills, martial arts and dance from a very early age giving her an advantage in the business and entertainment world.
